Rifle Regional Economic Development Corporation (RREDC) Executive Director and Community Manager
The Rifle Regional Economic Development Corporation and Rifle Cowork are seeking a part-time Executive Director/Community Manager with excellent organization, communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position will perform administrative, marketing, management and investor responsibilities. This position requires approximately 20 hours per week and the compensation is $30,000 per year. Community Leadership and Public Relations
- Work to identify and attract new businesses and industries to Rifle.
- Create awareness of the benefits and opportunities of economic development and RREDC to the regional community, its organizations, businesses and citizens.
- Ensure RREDC, its mission, program and services are consistently presented in a strong and positive image to its stakeholders, the community and the media.
- Attend regular stakeholder meetings (Garfield County ED Partners, Greater Rifle Improvement Team, Garfield Clean Energy) as the representative of the RREDC.
Investor Relations
- Establish investor benefits and levels of support.
- Identify and recruit new investors.
- Develop, monitor and evaluate programs to support investor retention and growth.
- Create Annual Report and coordinate Annual Meeting of Investors.
- Identify and recruit potential Board and Committee members to assist in shaping organizational direction.
- Participate in engaging public and private stakeholders and their resources in the organization’s programs.
- Invoice investors annually and maintain record of payment for County matching grant.
Financial and Asset Management
- Ensure the operation of the organization and implementation of its programs are within budget guidelines.
- Manage the financial and physical assets of the organization including cash, pledges and other receivables, payables, office equipment and facilities.
- Oversee and direct accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, preparation of financial statements and appropriate procedures and controls.
- Assist in the development and management of the organization’s annual budgets and long-term
forecasts. - Identify and solicit grant opportunities and other alternative funding sources, and assist in
fundraising planning and implementation. - Manage accounts and forgiveness process for the Rifle COVID-19 Small Business Loan Program, Silt
COVID-19 Small Business Loan Program and Rifle Restaurant Modification Loan Program. - Manage accounts for the Rifle Farmers Market and Rifle Area Mountain Biking Organization.
- Manage USDA Revolving Loan Fund accounts and perform reporting to the USDA.
Rifle Cowork Community Management
- Manage the daily operations of Rifle Cowork, including member support, tech support, software
management and website updates, and cleaning. - Create a positive and productive work environment.
- Create email and social media campaigns supplying members with important space information and
upcoming events. - Create marketing campaigns to build membership.
- Plan and execute events to market the space and build membership.
- Create and maintain operations budget.
- Provide on-call support to members.
Board Administration and Support

Marketing
- Work with Align Multimedia on website content and updates.
